At the opening of the Stars of Dar exhibition on Valentine’s day 2012, at the Slipway in Dar es Salaam, the last video production on the project was launched. The film gives an overview of the project and includes interviews taken at the opening night of the Stars of Dar exhibition, 14 October 2011. The exhibition was part of the ‘Global City - Local Identity’ programme, organised by the Goethe Institute. All Stars of Dar videos were produced by Hypermedia.

Architectureplus handles architecture projects which are off the beaten track.

The project successes are based upon out of the box creative solutions, extensive knowledge on building issues in different zones of the world, a strong network and an open dialogue with clients, users, user communities, participants, target groups and collaborating parties.
Architectureplus is lead by Berend van der Lans, combining over 20 years of experience in architecture in Europe and Africa with his experience as co-founder of ArchiAfrika and other NGO’s.
Architectureplus works with a flexible team and has working relations with FBW Architects, gENUINEfake, Infofilm, Constructs LLC, Studio Laucke Siebein, Anything is Possible, Amsterdam Academy of Architecture, Delft University of Technology and others. Berend van der Lans is secretary of the Board of ArchiAfrika and director of African Architecture Matters.
